A little while ago we were introduced to an entirely new kind of pubcrawl - the
pickle pub crawl. This type of pub crawl doesn't involve much land but rather you travel from pub to pub via harbour ferry all the while getting more and more pickled along the way. As it so happened, two birthdays fell on the same weekend and thus two different pickle boat outings were planned. The first was on a Saturday night - we started at about 6pm and enjoyed the last of the evening sun while cruising throughout the harbour on the boats. The second was on a Monday and we started at about 1pm thus enjoying the sunny summer afternoon. After visiting all the same places twice over I have come to the following conclusions: the Blue Crab is entirely worth skipping, the service at the Flying Otter is Phenomenal and the patio at Canoe Club might be the best one in town. Pickle boating in Victoria is a
must.
