You Are My Sunshine

Today was a tough Monday, I woke up completely exhausted, unorganized and unprepared for the week ahead -- but this weekend's activities were entirely worth it. To say the weather was great here on the Island would be an understatement. Mr. Sunshine was out in fine form all day every day for everyone to enjoy! If this weekend was any indication of what's to come.. we've got a G.O.O.D summer lined up!

Fresh flowers from the park for my bedside table.

Not a bad view for dinner.

Picnics by the sea.

Breakfast is always more fun to make for two.

The rat pack does Moss Street Market.

Picked up one of those adorable lemon soaps for a Mothers Day Gift
along with organic cat treats and Salish Sea Garlic Salt.

Next time we go, we will be accompanied by hearty appetites.

We couldn't wait for the 5th of May -
we celebrated Cinco De Mayo a day early.

Margaritas are the yummiest and most fun beverage to make
& that's a fact.

A day of margaritas in the sun with pals was followed by an amazing
dinner here and a hilarious evening of comedy with the one and only.

Sunday morning waffles at my Dad's.

Followed by a day at the lake.
*Don't mind my ridiculous sunburn from Margarita Saturday.

Delicious meals, picnics and barbecues with friends & family, sleepovers, movies, margaritas and cervezas for pre/post Cinco de Mayo fun, bike rides, market exploring, swimming, canoeing, dancing, laughing topped off with soaking up the sun.... why the hell not? I hope everyone enjoyed this sunny weekend as much as I did!
